When it comes to housing discrimination, you are protected by fair housing laws. Fair housing protections were made possible by the passage of the 1968 Fair Housing Act. Today federal, state, and local laws protect all people from discrimination whether they’re buying, renting, selling, or simply wanting to enjoy their home.
